Bis-sulfosuccinimidyl suberate (BS3) is a water soluble, non-cleavable, membrane impermeable homobifunctional protein crosslinker. BS3 is homobifunctional protein crosslinker with targeted reactivity towards primary amines at pH 7 to pH 9. Proteins are often a rich source of amines, both in lysine (K) residues and the N-terminus. Once reacted with the amine (-NH2) group, amide bond is formed.

  • Biotin-NHS (CAS 35013-72-0)

NHS-Biotin is a simple, amine reactive biotinylation reagent.
  • Citraconic Anhydride

Citraconic Anhydride (Methylmaleic anhydride) is used to block primary amine (-NH2) groups at pH 7 to 9. Citraconic anhydride reacts with primary amines to create a reversible amide linkage, which can be reversed under acidic conditions or in the presence of hydroxylamine.
  • DryBlend MES Buffered Saline, pH 4.7

MES buffered saline is ideally suited for protein cross linking reactions.
  • DryBlend PBS (Phosphate Buffered Saline), pH 7.2

Phosphate buffered saline is used as a buffer in protein crosslinking and protein modification reactions.
  • DSP Crosslinker

Lomant's reagent (DSP) is a reducible homobifunctional crosslinker. Another common name for this reagent is DTSP. DSP contains two NHS esters and contains a disulfide linkage that is cleavable.
  • DTSSP Crosslinker

3,3'-Dithiobis(sulfosuccinimidyl propionate), commonly known as DTSSP, is a reducible amine reactive protein crosslinking reagent. DTSSP is water soluble, and does not permeate the cell membrane.

  • Hexafluoroisopropanol (HFIP)

Hexafluoroisopropanol (HFIP) is also called 1,1,1,3,3,3-Hexafluoro-2-propanol or HFIP. HFIP is an acylation reagent that is used to introduce fluorine atoms into a compound and improve volatility. This is useful for Gas Chromatography (GC) applications and GCMS applications.
