Bis-sulfosuccinimidyl suberate (BS3) is a water soluble, non-cleavable, membrane impermeable homobifunctional protein crosslinker. BS3 is homobifunctional protein crosslinker with targeted reactivity towards primary amines at pH 7 to pH 9. Proteins are often a rich source of amines, both in lysine (K) residues and the N-terminus. Once reacted with the amine (-NH2) group, amide bond is formed.

  • 2-Iminothiolane

    2-Iminothiolane

2-Iminothiolane hydrochloride (Traut's Reagent) is used to convert primary amine (-NH2) groups to sulfhydryl groups (-SH) at pH 7 to 10. Traut's reagent (2-IT) is a water soluble molecule that is easy to use and creates a wide range of flexibility to the researcher.

  • CHCA MALDI Matrix

    CHCA MALDI Matrix

CHCA MALDI Matrix is a reagent used to create ions for MALDI-MS and MALDI TOF TOF analysis of protein and peptide molecules below 4,000 Daltons. TOF TOF mass spectrometry is one of the more common forms of MALDI-MS/MS, although several other types of mass spectrometers can also be coupled to MALDI instrumentation.

  • EDC-HCL | EDAC-HCL | > 99%

    EDC-HCL | EDAC-HCL | > 99%

N-Ethyl-N'(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide hydrochloride (EDC-HCl) is a zero length protein crosslinker. Also known as EDAC-HCl, this reagent is often used with either Sulfo-NHS (CovaChem 13505) or NHS (CovaChem 13504). EDC functions by activating the carboxyl region of the protein or other molecule, and coupling it to an amine or other nucleophilic functional group.

  • LC-SPDP Crosslinker

    LC-SPDP Crosslinker

Succinimidyl 6-[3-(2-pyridyldithio)propionamido] hexanoate (LC-SPDP) is a heterobifunctional crosslinker that is amino reactive on one end and sulfhydryl reactive on the other end. LC-SPDP contains a long spacer arm (15.7 Å)for increased molecular flexibility and a reducible disulfide, which is allows for cleavage of the crosslinker after crosslink formation.
