DCC Product Description

N,N'-Dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCC) is a zero length coupling reagent. DCC has both biochemical and synthetic applications. This reagent can be used to couple primary amines to carboxyllic acid functional groups. DCC is soluble in many organic solvents, while the DCU by product is generally insoluble and easily removed.

  • 2-Mercaptoethanol

2-Mercaptoethanol (2-ME) is a reducing agent used in synthetic and biological applications. This reducing agent is offered in multiple sizes to maximize its efficiency and shelf life. CovaChem's 2-Mercaptoethanol (11301-10 x 1 g) is designed for use in biological assays. These 1 gram hermetically sealed ampules provide maximum protection of the active thiol group and inconsistent activity from use to use or bottle to bottle.
  • 4-carbethoxyhexafluorobutyrl chloride (4-CB)

4-carbethoxyhexafluorobutyrl chloride (4-CB) is an alkylation reagent used in GC derivatization for improved gas chromatographic separations.
  • BSA

N,O-bis-(trimethylsilyl) acetamide (BSA) is a silylation reagent used to form stable TMS derivatives that are volatile. BSA is used to derivatize carboxylic acids, phenols, steroids, amines, alcohols, and alkaloids.
  • DryBlend PBS (Phosphate Buffered Saline), pH 7.2

Phosphate buffered saline is used as a buffer in protein crosslinking and protein modification reactions.
  • DSS Crosslinker

Disuccinimidyl Suberate (DSS) is a homobifunctional crosslinker that reacts with primary amines.
  • DTSSP Crosslinker

3,3'-Dithiobis(sulfosuccinimidyl propionate), commonly known as DTSSP, is a reducible amine reactive protein crosslinking reagent. DTSSP is water soluble, and does not permeate the cell membrane.
  • EDC-HCL | EDAC-HCL | > 99%

N-Ethyl-N'(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide hydrochloride (EDC-HCl) is a zero length protein crosslinker. Also known as EDAC-HCl, this reagent is often used with either Sulfo-NHS (CovaChem 13505) or NHS (CovaChem 13504). EDC functions by activating the carboxyl region of the protein or other molecule, and coupling it to an amine or other nucleophilic functional group.
  • EMCS Crosslinker

N-(∑-Maleimidocaproyloxy) succinimide ester(EMCS) is a heterobifunctional crosslinker with a spacer length of 9.4 Å. EMCS contains an amine reactive, NHS ester, and a maleimide group which is reactive towards sulfhydryl functional groups.
